Recently, I was visiting a Back2Back’s ministry site in Haiti. While I was there, I knew I was balancing many agendas (to encourage the staff, to engage the team I traveled with, helping with a project). I honestly almost forgot the real reason I was there was to love kids.
Rosa started working with fourteen-year-old, Laura, over the summer. Laura had failed her previous classes. When school ended last year, she was tired and frustrated.
Alan is 10. He lives in a small community outside Cancun called Tres Reyes. Like most boys he loves soccer. Tres Reyes, unfortunately, has no soccer fields.
