An internship with Back2Back is a great opportunity to learn about orphaned and vulnerable children as you serve the Lord alongside other interns and staff. Both US and international internships are available at various times during the year. Select from the following links to learn more.
Back2Back summer interns gain practical hands-on ministry experience through international service. Interns work alongside Back2Back staff members and assist behind-the-scenes to host summer mission trip teams. International interns help lead work projects at local orphanages and outreaches to underdeveloped communities, contributing to the mission of providing holistic orphan care. The program includes staff-led discipleship and leadership training opportunities. Back2Back offers two summer term options; selected candidates can request a one-month or two-month internship.
The application process begins in September each year with applications due October 15th and decisions made in December. We invite candidates who are 18 years and older to apply. If you wish to serve at one of the Mexico sites, or at the Haiti site, you’ll need prior mission trip experience with Back2Back. For interns wishing to serve at the Nigeria and India sites, we ask that you have prior international mission trip experience with any organization.
International internship applications for 2019 are now closed.
