Nehemiah tells the story of how the wall around the city of Jerusalem was re-built after a period of destruction and exile. It is a story of a bold plan, of divine provision, of hard work by people with different skill sets, of opposition, of perseverance and ultimately – of hope realized.

With additional Back2Back India staff and the new India Hope Campus, the timing was perfect to begin an annual Orphan Sunday service. We planned a special service to engage the children and connect them to children living at other Back2Back sites.
When I was little, I remember at Christmastime we often made Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with my mom to send to children who didn’t have as much as we did. It seems so simple, but I now realize the impact it had on me was a lasting one.

In an effort to provide holistic orphan care, Back2Back believes dental care is a crucial component in meeting each child’s physical needs. Back2Back is pleased to have Sofia Segura on staff, a resident dentist who works in the clinic full-time.
Back2Back staff serves the orphan child worldwide in varied positions.
