Back2Back began working in Cancún in 2010. Due to the large population of vulnerable children and families, our work has focused on empowering families toward self-sustainability and flourishing. Our community centers offer a wide variety of programs and services to families to come alongside them in an effort to offer opportunities for growth in all five areas of development as well as developing supportive friendships with other families in the community. This approach to family strengthening developed in Cancún is known as Back2Back’s Strong Families Program and has been adapted to be used at Back2Back’s other ministry locations internationally.
