COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Precautions

March 12, 2020

We are still looking forward to hosting mission trip participants on their upcoming visits!

We wanted to let you know we are keeping up-to-date on the most recent developments around COVID-19 (Coronavirus.) We have a team monitoring the situation both nationally and internationally and we are doing our best to look at this issue biblically and culturally.

What are you doing at the site level?
We are using water bottles, encouraging frequent hand washing and use of sanitizer, sanitizing dorm spaces and shared spaces, and sanitizing each site vehicle for transportation.  Additionally, we are consistently communicating these sanitation processes while teams are visiting.

What if I need to cancel?
If at any point, you become uncomfortable with traveling, please know we respect your decision.

  • We can suspend your trip, and hold your Back2Back mission trip fees up to 1 year for a future trip.
  • Alternatively, you can re-allocate your mission trip fees toward the Back2Back Care Fund, which funds programs for orphaned and vulnerable children and families around the world.
  • We can fully refund your donation toward mission trip fees up until 30 days prior to travel, however the fees must have been donated in the fiscal year 2020.

How are the kids impacted by this situation?
Using our trauma-informed principles, we are striving to be a non-anxious presence in the lives of the children we serve. Their lives are currently uninterrupted and our programs are running as usual.

Again, we look forward to sharing a life-changing experience with you! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly, we are more than happy to talk through any concerns.
