Video Media Coordinator

Coordinate the collection and production of Back2Back video, audio, and still content to engage donors, advocates, and staff in the mission and vision of the ministry, stewarding ministry resources and aligning work with Advancement strategies to generate impact and expand our reach.

Position summary:  Coordinate the collection and production of Back2Back video, audio, and still content to engage donors, advocates, and staff in the mission and vision of the ministry, stewarding ministry resources and aligning work with Advancement strategies to generate impact and expand our reach.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the master video project calendar for the department, which includes all video production schedules, ensuring jobs are appropriately assigned to staff and executed in a manner that is timely, high-quality, and on-budget to meet the needs of campaigns and projects. 
  • Review project requests and assist in assignments to recruit additional producers, videographers, photographers as needed to fulfill priority projects.
  • Coordinate all initial aspects of video production projects, ensuring that projects are accurately defined, schedules created and tracked, resulting in a smooth, efficient, and well-run process.
  • Produce training videos for Back2Back for both internal and external distribution.
  • Maintain footage license agreements, requests, fulfillment, and distribution, and monitor and report media usage as needed to fulfill those requirements.
  • Run livestream cameras for events and recordings.
  • Whenever able, personally execute local, national, and international collection of video/stills for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and plan travel for resource gathering trips. 
  • Create and execute a plan to maintain an accessible archive of Back2Back video and stills for Back2Back.
  • Coordinate with IT to oversee the back end of the Back2Back website and work with the Equipping and Care Team to make sure all Staff Support pages are updated as needed.
  • Assist as needed with organizational special events.
  • Develop and maintain a team of ministry partners that fully fund the position.

Required education and experience:

  • College graduate.
  • Experience in executing multifaceted video and photography shoots (professional experience preferred).
  • Mature Christian.
  • Must be familiar with pre-production, production, post-production processes.

  • Have a clear understanding of and commitment to Back2Back’s mission and vision.

  • Operate with basic competency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.

  • Administrative and detail-oriented/well organized.
  • Project management skills, including ability to oversee multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Sensitivity to cross cultural communications preferred.
