Alan* smiles to himself as he sees the passing score on his admissions exam for university. Despite familial and personal challenges, he never questioned if he would pass, he knew his hard work would serve him well and lead him where he needed to go next. In the weeks before his admissions exam, he prepared through voracious studying and prayer.

They are qualities that allowed Alan to push himself to be and perform his best. He will begin classes very soon at one of the most prestigious universities in the city. Anytime he visits staff, they are quick to remind him how known and loved he is by God and the safe adults who regularly rally around him.
