Providing holistic care to every child Back2Back serves means every facet of their well-being is taken into consideration. Warm beds and hot food are just one part of a multitude of ways each boy and girl across every site is pursued and looked after.
A key way children are provided for holistically is through education. Whether it’s school tuition, tutoring help, or hiring an extra safe adult to help educational progress, sponsorship funds ensure children are receiving what they need in the classroom.
Recently, a history teacher was hired to help assist children at a partnering children’s home. Currently, 12 students meet every weekday for an hour each day with their history teacher.
Together, they are studying different time periods and about history localized in Mexico. They recently learned about the history of corn! The chance to gather and learn new information about the country they call home, and the world beyond, is an opportunity the children do not take for granted.
Advocacy, prayer, and faithful sponsorship ensure every child is pursued holistically and that they show emotional, physical, and educational growth in the classroom and outside of it.
