Local Churches Volunteer at Children’s Homes

Imperio de Amor Children’s Home has been adopted by a local church in Monterrey, Familia Cristiana Principe de Paz. This involvement is hugely important as we continue to provide greater depth of holistic care for each orphan we serve.

The church’s youth group visits the home once a month to intentionally interact with the children. Every other Thursday, church volunteers lead services in Imperio de Amor’s chapel. They also tutor the children after school.

Additionally, we are in the process of creating a discipleship program with them. Members of the church will be building into each child individually, meeting one-on-one every week to encourage, challenge and help deepen their faith in God. Training will be complete in the next few weeks and the program will begin within the home this month.

We are thrilled by this church’s commitment to Imperio de Amor. They are committed to partnering with Back2Back to meet the spiritual, physical, educational, emotional, and social needs of the children we serve. Please pray for this church and ask God to continually bring more volunteers to help teach, train and love the children in the ways He does.
