Position summary: To oversee the details of hosting one-week mission trips and short-term visitors of any kind, including, but not limited to, lodging, transportation, food planning, schedules, and staffing.
Primary responsibilities:
- Receive information, organize, and communicate details of mission trips and visitors.
- Meet with US office staff, development team staff, and Monterrey programs staff to plan details and maximize schedules of mission trips and visitors.
- Take the initiative to collect information for upcoming mission trips and visits.
- Schedule mission trips in partnership with US office staff
- Assist as needed with organizational special events.
- Develop and maintain a team of ministry partners that fully fund the position.
Required education and experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
- Mature Christian
Required skills and abilities:
- Have a clear understanding of and commitment to Back2Back’s mission and vision.
- Adhere to and share the Back2Back Statement of Faith, Cultural Values, and Standards of a Staff Member.
- Operate with basic competency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
- Highly Organized/Detail-oriented.
- High written/spoken communication skills.
- Ability to receive large amounts of information and organize in a logical manner.
- Deep understanding of US culture and working understanding of Mexican culture.
- Adaptability to quickly changing circumstances.
- Understanding of time and logistic factors.
- Ability to follow and improve internal processes.
- Spanish not required but helpful.
