You are our witnesses! We want to testify to how God is moving on behalf of the Mexican orphan. We believe that God has heard the Church crying out to him and his response has been thunderous. He is mobilizing His body and it’s been remarkable to watch.
We are excited to partner with local churches and other non-profit organizations in Cancún for the Tres Reyes Community Center Project.
Isabel regularly meets with her mentor, Back2Back staff member, Ana for Bible study, discipleship and relationship building. Ana’s goal is for Isabel to understand her identity and tremendous worth as God’s child.
We watched as women who are widowed that Back2Back serves, worked incredibly hard to provide for their children, sacrificing on their behalf. It touched our hearts because the one matters.
As children, we “practice” interacting socially with others, and with society every day. Our world naturally expands as we join sports teams, perform at recitals and plays, meet extended family and travel on vacation.
Articulate, outgoing and personable – fifteen-year old Rubi exudes confidence. She loves people and enjoys helping care for the younger children at the orphanage she calls home.
Many of the children we serve lack access to books and lag behind in literacy. In recent years, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have built libraries at many of the children’s homes we serve, empowering hundreds of children to discover the joy of reading.
Wendy, who grew up in a children’s home, had quietly dreamed of having a quincenera but she had never actually attended one. It didn’t take long for her to realize that the day would reach far beyond a simple party.
Gaby is pursuing a degree in visual arts and film thanks through the support of Back2Back’s Hope Education Program in Monterrey, Mexico. Students like Gaby are mentored, provided with an education, and encouraged to pursue their dreams so that they can become self-sustaining individuals who give back to their community.
