Kristen went on her first trip with Back2Back to Mazatlán, MX in 2014. That trip led to 3 summers as summer staff, where she practiced Spanish, ate delicious tacos, and built new relationships centered in Christ. The Lord used those summers to shift her heart towards a call in orphan care and to coming on staff full-time. Kristen has been living and working in Mazatlán since September of 2020. She loves any excuse to grab a coffee with a friend, paint, and spend time with her dogs. She is a teacher at heart and is grateful that the Lord’s plan allows her to continue working with children each day!
